About Me
A practicing urban planner from the midwest, Ivan’s first professional career started as a website designer for a tech company. Learning to code and design simple and intuitive websites for clients around the world became a passion. Taking into account how people process and understand information is an important pillar in Ivan’s design practice. As a bilingual designer, Ivan helped Spanish and English businesses expand their reach by consultng on brand messaging, colloborating on design, and implementing their online presence.
Developing Web Projects With An Eye To Design.
Based out of the southwest, Ivan has worked on website projects from around the world. Ivan is fluent in English and Spanish which allows him to work on builds in either language.
Ivan is familier with many design platforms including WordPress, Dreamweaver, and Wix. As well as proficient in coding languages such as HTML, JAVA, and CSS among others.
A graduate from Iowa State University, in the College of Design, Ivan is able to identify important design elements in a digital platform as well as physical through his design education.
Traveling around the world is a passion of Ivan’s which has allowed him to experience different perspectives and designs from around the world. This experience is a foundational aspect of thinking outside the box.

Work Experience
Iván worked on UI/UX design within the web design department of Godaddy.com for three years and continued to hone his skills through virtual community engagement as his career shifted to urban planning.
Iván continues to build on his web design skills through new builds and community engagement projects that require a virtual componant that showcases information, solicites feedback, and provides a virtual hub for projects.
As a part of the design team at Godaddy.com, Iván was able to develop and modify code to provide fully customizable websites with specific functionalities.
Graphic design has been a part of each position Iván has held, whether it was in the tech sector or a public city planner. The need for graphic design elements in projects has allowed him to be proficient in programs such as inDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Marketing has also been a part of each of Iván’s roles and continues to be a cornerstone of his practice. Helping organizations and individuals succeed in the online environment has become even more important in post-covid era.
